Are there inherent conditions in accepting an order?

The reception of a confirmation email for an order does not automatically mean that Unique Restaurant Supplies accepts the said order and is in no way a confirmation that Unique Restaurant Supplies warrants the sale of the items.

Unique Restaurant Supplies does retain the right, without prior notice, to refuse to deal with a customer and/or impose a limit on the requested quantity of an ordered item. At all times, it might be necessary for Unique Restaurant Supplies to complete a background check on your identity and credit prior to acceptance to fulfill an order.

We are not responsible for lost, held, or damaged packages. We are not responsible for mis-delivery errors via carrier, or incorrect shipping info. Shipping is a service you purchase from Canada Post along with your order from us, so any shipping issues must be handled by Canada Post.

Legal guarantees

The Civic Code of Quebec and the Consumer Protection Law provides legal guarantees namely related to hidden defects as well as usage of sold goods. These legal guarantees also apply to this sale.

This guarantee can in no way hinder, or suppress the legal guarantee provided by the manufacturer when there is one.

Out of stock items

An item that is back ordered means that the product is currently unavailable. It is possible that the order is being processed with one of our suppliers, out of stock, recalled, or discontinued, if so, you shall be advised.

Unique Restaurant Supplies displays all the items that can be ordered from either one of our suppliers. It must be noted though that these items may not be in stock in one of our stores or the website. In the case where Unique Restaurant Supplies must wait for one of the out-of-stock items becomes available, it is possible that your order will be held back prior to expedition.

Unique Restaurant Supplies does in no way guarantee that the items displayed on its site are available. At any time prior to the site’s reception of the item, you can cancel the order by emailing [email protected]  or calling our Customer Service Department or sending your request through mail to our address located at 107-3600 Billings Crt Burlington, Ontario Canada L7N 3N6. Unique Restaurant Supplies will in no way be held liable for any damage that you may experience due to the out-of-stock item.

Product descriptions

Unique Restaurant Supplies and its affiliates do everything in their power to ensure that the information on the site is as accurate as possible. However, Unique Restaurant Supplies does not guarantee that the product descriptions or any other content on the site Unique Restaurant Supplies are accurate, complete, reliable, up to date, or exempt of errors. If a product proposed by Unique Restaurant Supplies does not comply with the description, your only recourse is to return it in its original state. Picture shown may vary from the actual product.

Prices

The prices of our products are displayed in Canadian currency and the applicable taxes are added to the amount. All orders, regardless of their origin, are payable in Canadian currency. Unique Restaurant Supplies retains the right to modify its prices at any time. Products are always billed on the basis of the amounts in effect at the time when the order is recorded.

Taxes

Unique Restaurant Supplies calculates the taxes based upon the address where the order will be shipped.  For an order shipped in Canada, the taxes depend upon the province; for example, for Quebec, the added taxes are QST (Quebec Sales Tax) and the GST (Goods & Services Taxes).

Payment

The payment of your purchased items must be completed through a banking card, MasterCard, Visa or by E-Transfer. The proposed fees must be covered in accordance with the payment procedure detailed during the registration process. The customer accepts to cover the total cost as well as additional fees of the purchased item, including taxes. Unique Restaurant Supplies can modify the price after having advised the customer. The customer is the sole responsible of the actual payment of the purchased item. Unique Restaurant Supplies is not responsible of payment problems related to operation of e-commerce service.

Risk of a lost item

All purchases completed on Unique Restaurant Supplies are done so in accordance with the shipping contract. This means that the risk of losing an item and property rights associated with the item are transferred to you at the moment when we remit the item to the carrier.

Shipping

Unique Restaurant Supplies typically uses the services of Canada Post for the delivery of your purchases. 

Delivery is FREE in Canada when your purchase is made online and it exceeds $100. Some restrictions apply as explained in Shipping Restrictions.

Transit times:

– Allow one business day for processing your order if order is placed after 11:00 AM,  Eastern Time (ET)

– Most products are in stock ready to ship. Items not in stock ship within 7-10 business days after processing your order.

– The stock availability and shipment region can increase the standard delivery time.

Shipping restrictions and conditions!

Shipping’s on us for purchases over $100

Free shipping does not apply to (delivery times cannot be guaranteed for these areas):

  • Yukon,
  • Northwest Territories
  • Nunavut
  • Newfoundland and Labrador

If an item is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we will notify the buyer for the correct address, and the buyer is responsible for additional shipping charges to ship the item a second time.

If a package is returned to us because the buyer has not claimed a package after the delivery attempt, the buyer is responsible for additional return & shipping charges to ship the item a second time.

Shipping outside of Canada

We do not accept U.S. orders at this time.

Returns

You have up to ten (10) days from its reception to return a product to Unique Restaurant Supplies; for either a refund or an exchange. When you return an item, you must include the invoice and a note that details the reason behind the return.

Returning an item for a reason other than a defect

You must cover the shipping fees and the inherent risks for a returned item. For items that are not defective, we do not accept returns wherein the item has been removed from the package.

Returning a defective product

If Unique Restaurant Supplies has delivered the wrong item, Unique Restaurant Supplies will ship the correct one. Unique Restaurant Supplies will cover the fees associated with the delivery.

Reimbursement

Upon reception of the returned items, the amounts that were debited from your credit card on Unique Restaurant Supplies with respect to these items, except for shipping fees, will be credited as soon as possible under the condition that the items that are subject to the return were done so by you and received by Unique Restaurant Supplies in the same condition as they were when they were shipped and received by you.
